Random Photographs # 1

I dedicate this post and subsequent posts to those pictures that do not quite make it to 500px, Flickr, or even Facebook. These are the photos that I have taken while out and about and have decided not to use, which is a shame. I tend to keep a relatively high standard for myself and that is why a number of pictures never see the light of day. Without further ado, photos that I have never posted anywhere else because I did not deem them worthy:

Now, I could give you three guesses as to where this picture was taken and I am pretty sure you would be wrong all three times. Besides the obvious that it is graffiti, I found it on the top of the door of a men's bathroom stall in a McDonalds. It is funny, the interesting things you find in the oddest of places.

When I take pictures, I tend to place the main object of the photo to one of the sides. I find it makes the image more pleasing to my eyes, rather than having the subject smack dab in the middle of the picture. I also tend to do this quite often, which is overkill. This was one of the first times I had a chance to use my new Nikon 50mm f/1.8G and I have got to say the lens is gorgeous in what it can do.
